What will you do:

  • Delivering IT solutions in GCP cloud as well as hybrid and on-premises model for Enterprise customers – banks, telecoms, corporations;
  • Participating in implementation and design of technical solutions in the fields of (among others): Cloud Architecture, Containerization, Automation, Cloud migrations, DevOps;
  • Identifying the possibilities of optimization and transformation of client IT and Cloud architecture;
  • Client organization onboarding to the Cloud.

 

What do we expect from you:

  • Planning and estimating GCP product use using the Pricing Calculator;
  • Setting up cloud projects and (services) accounts (creating projects, users and roles management, Stackdriver workspaces);
  • Understanding billing configuration;
  • Understanding (cloud-native) networking (Integration with on-premises / multi-cloud environments, VPC, peering, firewalls, container networking);
  • Deploying and administrating Compute Engine resources (Launching a compute (autoscaled) instances, remote access, Stackdriver Agent);
  • Deploying and administrating Google Kubernetes Engine resources (Deploying a Google Kubernetes Engine cluster);
  • Understanding and designing cloud-native databases;
  • Troubleshooting;
  • Upper intermediate English – is a must.

 

Nice to have:

  • Hand-on experience (or at least good fundamentals) in working with Containers with usage at least one of leading orchestration platforms (e.g. Kubernetes, GKE, OpenShift, Anthos);
  • Understanding of DevOps culture, practices and tools (e.g. Jenkins, Git, GitLab, Pipelines);
  • Basic hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Automation Tools approach using machine-readable definition files (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Deployment Manager);
  • Knowledge of common Operating Systems (Linux Red Hat / Debian distribution, Windows);
  • Basic understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware, RHV / KVM, Oracle VM, Hyper-V);
  • Basic knowledge of private / hybrid cloud platforms (e.g. Red Hat OpenStack, VMware vRealize, Google Anthos, Red Hat CloudForms);
  • Basic understanding of some aspect(s) of network stack and network protocols;
  • Understanding of some aspect(s) of computer security: network security, application security, security protocols, cryptography, etc.;
  • Experience developing simple scripts and applications with one of: Bash, PowerShell, Python;
  • GCP certificate​.
